2022 Richard Tucker Gala

The recipient of the 2014 Richard Tucker Award, Michael Fabiano will be featured in this year’s Richard Tucker Gala which takes place at Lincoln Center’s Wu Tsai Theater on November 13.

In honor of the great American tenor Richard Tucker, this annual gala highlights the talent of today’s opera stars in support of The Tucker Foundation which is dedicated to nurturing the careers of talented young American opera singers through awards, grants, performance opportunities, and more.

This year’s gala will celebrate American soprano Angel Blue who has been named the winner of the 2022 Tucker Award.  In addition to Mr. Fabiano, other past award winners will also perform in this star-studded concert including Renée Fleming, Joyce DiDonato, Christine Goerke, Angela Meade, Stephen Costello, Eleanora Buratto, Christian Van Horn, and more. Speranza Scappucci leads members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and New York Choral Society.
