Verdi’s Nabucco returns to Teatro Real de Madrid for the first time 150 years on July 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 18, 19, & 21. Michael Fabiano stars as Ismaele in Andreas Homoki’s sumptuous and period production, with costumes by Susana Mendoza and stage design by Wolfgang Gussmann.

Nicola Luisotti conducts a star-studded cast including Luca Salsi, George Gagnidze, and Gabriele Viviani singing the title role, Dmitry Belosselsky, Roberto Tagliavini, and Alexander Vinogradov as Zaccaria, Anna Pirozzi and Saioa Hernández as Abigaille, Silvia Tro Santafé and Elena Maximova as Fenena, and Simon Lim and Felipe Bou as El Gran Sacerdote.
