Michael Fabiano travels to Rio de Janeiro this month for his debut performance on August 25, part of the “Grandes Vozes no Rio de Janeiro” concert series. In addition to the performance, Mr. Fabiano will give a masterclass and work with children from surrounding schools. Part of the official 2019 season of the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro, the series is an unprecedented initiative in the Brazilian opera scene.

With the TMRJ Symphony Orchestra, Fabiano will perform arias and excerpts from operas by Verdi, Puccini, Massenet, Mascagni, Leoncavallo, Léhar and Tchaikovsky, under the baton of Ira Levin. For more information and tickets, click here.
