2018 Richard Tucker Gala

Michael Fabiano returns to Carnegie Hall for one of the most highly anticipated operatic events each season, the Richard Tucker Gala. This year’s gala features 2018 Richard Tucker Award-winner Christian Van Horn, who will share the stage with several opera luminaries. This special event on October 21, will be streamed live on medici.tv beginning at 6 pm, and on WQXR for audiences in New York.

The evening’s program will feature beloved arias and ensemble works by celebrated opera composers. Fabiano, the 2014 Richard Tucker Award-winner, will share the stage with a roster of stars including soprano Anna Netrebko, tenor Javier Camarena, soprano Angela Meade, soprano Christine Goerke, soprano Nadine Sierra, baritone Quinn Kelsey, mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe, and tenor Yusif Eyvazov. Marco Armiliato conducts the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and New York Choral Society.
