Seattle, I leave part of my heart with you
So ends a wonderful stay in Seattle for a run of La Boheme. It was a fantastic experience for me. If anyone hasn’t travelled to Seattle, it should top your list of next destinations for a vacation. The vistas of the city, the restaurants, the clean air, the clear view of the sky and stars (when not overtly cloudy) is magical and worthy. I hope to spend a lot of time in Seattle now. Try a Harbor Boat tour which was a fantastic way to end my trip after a long run or if you have time, take a drive to the pacific coast to witness the ocean and the incredible dusk. I may sound like a sap but it’s a great town and I’m very glad that I was able to be there for these last six weeks. Some say that Seattle has gloomy, cold weather. I rarely experienced that. In fact, I witnessed some of the most beautiful days with the clearest blue skies of my life. And the tap water is really drinkable, unlike in other cities. A few restaurants that I enjoyed…Tavolata, Shiro, and Wenarto’s Kitchen.
